Known as “black tea” outside of East Asia, red tea denotes the varying hues of amber and maroon colors of the tea infusions. Just as enchanting are its often highly fragrant taste profiles, which encompass sweet floral, fruity, earthy, and woody notes depending on the sites of cultivations and varietals of the Camellia sinensis. Our red teas are grown and harvested at an average altitude of 2000 meters or 6562 feet above sea level. This condition makes possible the drastic and vital change of temperature and humidity from day to night, allowing the tea leaves to slowly develop different characters.
